Women - Stop Suffering in Silence and Love Yourself!

Posted in: ,

By Souraya Christine

Ok ladies, I am here to give it to you straight. I’m singling you out from the men, because it seems that we are the ones who have the greatest problem with two major issues; one, suffering in silence and two, not loving ourselves first. Hopefully, we can change this pattern of thinking right here, right now.

Love's Pain - Part 1

“I’ll never let you go, oh noooo,” sings Faith Evans, “Every day I thank the Lord for you, I feel so blessed”. I remember vividly that was the song Lolu and I danced to on our wedding day. “I wished upon a star and it came true” I sing as tears start to find their way down my face. How could I possibly hurt the man who made all my dreams come true? If I chose to confess, I would have peace of mind but my marriage would be shattered. We were happy, we WERE happy, WE WERE HAPPY, I think as the thoughts are now stained by a reminder of my sins and lies.

Did Oral Sex Really Give Michael Douglas Cancer?

Posted in: , ,

One of the most controversial at the same time as viral - no pun intended - posts on this site remain the ones about whether Nigerian men give oral sex, and what the bible says about oral sex between married couples. I've received emails, tweets, DMs and messages on Facebook calling me out, or asking me to carry on, lol. I have to say the first group are louder.

3 Tips To Make it Easier For A Woman To Approach A Man

Summer is right around the corner so there’s no better time to let loose and approach that handsome man you’ve been eying from across the room. For some women, this task may bring extreme anxiety but there’s no need to worry. Men are actually easier to be approached then many women give them credit for.

Salma Hayek, Frida Ganinni and Beyonce - The Founders

Chime for Change is a non-profit which uses crowd-sourcing funds to help empower women and girls through education, health and justice. It is definitely something I support and it's great to know the concert went very well.

Tiwa Savage - Olorun Mi [For the Ones Loved and Lost]

Posted in:

A very touching video and song by Tiwa Saveage to commemorate loved ones we have lost to death. She includes clips of the Dana air crash victims as well as Goldie, Christie Essien Igbokwe, Justice Esiri, the Aluu4, among others. So many wars, hunger, diseases, natural disasters and the senseless murders and killings in between. May God rest the souls of those taken.

Kim Kardashian is Really Having a Girl

Posted in: , ,

When Kim Kardashian first shared pictures of her baby bump [see post], I used old wives tales to predict she was having a girl. Some agreed and some disagreed. I wasn't serious myself to be honest. But it seems I have to give those old wives more credit. It's really a girl for Kim Kardashian.

PS - +Rayo Abe  when do you want me to predict yours? LOL...

Dear Myne - Has My Boyfriend Been Pretending All Along?

Posted in: ,

Hi Myne, Pls kindly share this on your blog. I need people's opinion. Thank you. I have this problem and its really killing me right inside and I really can't stop thinking about it.

I have been dating this guy for 8 months but I recently broke up with him because I think its the right thing to do. Reason is because he never calls to check how I am doing and when I said never I mean NEVER. I am always the one calling and texting him.

Giving Wedding Gifts That Will Stand Out

Posted in: ,

By Fikayo Giwa

Gone are the days, when guests turn up to weddings with toasters and china to present to newlyweds as their wedding gifts. With the advent of cohabiting, couples tend to have already furnished their homes and so don’t require the traditional starter home gifts. These days, it is more common for invites to say “we request monetary gifts”, “contributions towards a store gift list” “vouchers” or more simply “your presence is enough of a gift”. We have come up with interesting and creative gift ideas, big and small for the less traditional couple

A Woman Offering To Split the Bill on First Dates

Posted in: , ,

You know the scenario well: The check comes. No one moves. You look at each other. You smile. The check sits there. This, my friends, is what we call a little game of “pick-up check.”

The question is: Should a woman offer to split the bill on the first date?
