WHEN THE CHILD IS BETWEEN BIRTH AND 3 MONTH

In this period, your toddler will enjoy games that let him/her test the sensory channels and limbs. Baby wants to see your smiling face, wants to smile back, and to find comfort in consistency.

What you should do to help a kid is to have him/her in your arms while singing soothing songs to make it relax and happy. Also, calling mimicking pet sounds in a silly way, and encouraging a kid to imitate some of your words or actions.

When talking to a child, you should make eye contact with him/her because, at this stage of life, baby wants to see your face and any other face around. Spend some good time with baby explaining how things occurred in your life that day, the errands you went, the people you met, and why you did what you did.

WHEN THE CHILD IS BETWEEN 3 TO 6 MONTH OLD

At this point in your toddler’s life, his/her eyes are already sharp, and the kid has begun to test mobility skill, you want to help achieve that through the developmental games. What an infant loves at this period are the different colors and forms in the world around. Baby wants to see the smiles of the dad and mom while flexing his/her hands and legs in fun.

Educational activities children will love to engage in at this period of their life are objects that allow them to understand the world from a different perspective. You should hand them simple objects with different textures like a big book, a nice looking stuffed animal. By handling these objects, your child will through the senses of touch and sight comprehend that objects in the world looks differently feels differently, and reacts differently.

WHEN THE CHILD IS BETWEEN 6 TO 9 MONTHS OF AGE
The type of kids learning games your child is interested in at this time of age are activities that are interactive. Toddler wants to exact a force on an object and have it return some response. What you should do is provide toys and objects that can give this response. Also, you should use objects that catch baby’s eyes to play hide and seek with her, while asking if she knows where it is hidden. This play helps to learn that some objects can be hidden.

WHEN THE CHILD IS BETWEEN 12 TO 16 MONTHS OF AGE
When a child has reached this point in life, he or she will quickly engage in mind games for kids and developmental activities. This quick response is rested on youngster’s interest to explore, to imitate grownups and to participate in pretend plays.
Some ways to help will be creating activities that meet infant’s interest, twisting your daily activities to be a time to explore and make things happen, will be fun to her. You could arrange a pretend play laced with fun; pretend to be the mother or an adult, and give him/her something similar to an adult’s duty. Allow your children to help you and enjoy seeing the energetic side as they feel they had contributed somehow to doing the task and making mom and dad delighted.
